I did see a threat that contained a similar complaint but I believe it was user error... as mine will be I hope. I used this Intex Sand Filter last year and it worked great.
We just filled the pool, poured the salt in and put new sand in the filter --- and it won't suck the water. There is no pressure on the gauge. The hoses do not seem to be leaking and we got the sand at Warehouse Pool supply so it is correct. There seems to be no obstruction within the hoses -> connection -> pump.
I'm at a loss. We took the motor area apart a bit and it runs.
