TF100 kit question on how to use

In the Ta test it says to do the drops untill waterturns red. Does that mean the first time a drop turns red or when all the water turns red?
If it one drop My TA is 40 but if is all the water my TA is 70. I'm confused.

Keep adding until the color stops changing. You don't count the last drop that has no affect.
