I've been happy with it for 2 years so far. I have a 18x36 kidney pool with a 16 mil solar cover. It's barely tall enough though, once all the blanket is rolled onto it to avoid dragging on concrete decking. But as far as strength, the aluminum sections bolt together and seem strong enough. I'm not advocating for this specific one from intheswim, that's just where I got mine as they were having a winter clearance sale. There are probably taller ones, but I didn't have unlimited funds for it either...
