I'm slightly curious, how many people let their dogs swim with them or have a pool for their dogs? We have a 120 pound German Shepard and she hates the water!
We have a separate baby pool for the dogs. They are not interested in it but they love our pond which we'd prefer they not use. They killed five koi a couple of weeks ago do we thought a baby pool would work.

My fiance mentioned a pool for the dog and my first thought was, it would be a bit of a pain to balance a dog pool. It would probably be easiest to scoop some out of our pool and dump it back at the end of the day. We have a small dog who probably wouldn't enjoy more than 2-3" of water. I doubt she would even use it at all.
