Thin Plaster

Just drained the pool to do some tile work and it appears that the plaster is thin in spots ... solutions ???

What do you mean by thin? If the plaster is intact there is no way to tell how thick it is. If the plaster is not intact then it doesn't really matter if it is thick or thin, there is a problem regardless.
