New setup...first numbers...

Pool finished filling yesterday and after treating...I got my first set of numbers today.
FC 4
CC .5
PH 7.4
TA 130
CH 300
CYA 50

I need to get my CH down a little I guess? I used well water to fill and its hard out here. PH could come down a little too. What is the norm for TA and CH? Does my CYA look okay?

Not much you can do about the CH, but 300 isn't bad anyway. CYA is fine at 50, but do not add any more! Liquid bleach only from now on. Read up on Pool School and learn poolcalculator.com for your baselines.

Like RobbieH, I agree that you should leave everything alone....the numbers are just fine.

Well water always has the potential for iron content. Test for that when you get a chance.
