BBB

I have been studying the BBB stuff and I have 2 questions. Can Oxy clean be used instead of Borax?
Do I need to use some sort of algaecide?

I am currently using swg with vinyl intex pool. Taylors K-2006 will be here this week and just want to be sure I understand the BBB by next weekend.

Oxi-clean isn't borax. It is hydrogen peroxide, so it isn't a substitute.

You probably don't need an algaecide. They are primarily useful for winterization. Chlorine alone will easily control algae.
