    im new to this and i had a question i turn the pump on on my intex pool do you have to feel the strainer suctioning ?

    You should see water coming out through the return which will mean that the pump is pooling. It really depends on the size pump you have as to what you can see or feel.

    Thanks I have the 15x48 intex and I do see water coming out of the other part also do I need chlorine for it right now I just set it up 3 days ago

    Yes, you need chlorine now or you'll soon have green water. Visit pool school to learn how to maintain your pool with minimal effort and cost.
