How do you know how much chlorine (diclore) to use to overtake ascorbic acid? I gave an aa treatment a few days ago but am Leary to add too much chlorine at a time. Would it be safe to use a half lb an hr a couple hrs a night until I see the FC hold (tester from blue box in the tf 100 kit) or should I use the chlorine drop test? And should I start tonight or wait at least 48 hrs from aa treatment?

You can add whatever it takes. However, if you use enough dichlor to offset an AA treatment your CYA is going to be very high.

Also, we recommend bleach/liquid chlorine to raise FC. As Bama pointed out, dichlor will have your CYA out of control if you use it exclusively.
