I have a question or should I say questions....please help

The motor fell out the bottom of the filter basket and broke I don't like the pump never have. Now I want to buy a intex sand filter for my summer escape pool as I see this can be done as I fight WELL WATER clear one day coffee the next, switching to soft swim chemicals per recommendation of pool place who has milked plenty of money out of me. Any ideas what I can use to plug the whole but need the hose to come off there to my sand filter....

Welcome to TFP.

There are many threads about using the Intex sand filter on a Summer Escape pool but I don't remember if anyone has come up with and adaptor to do away with the pump on the skimmer.

This adapter from Amazon looks like what you need.
