Mostly curious about FC testing with the TF-100. I understand the extended test results for getting testing down to .2 ppm, but is it possible or wise to save on regent and test for higher levels? Such as using 5 ml of water...would that make each drop of regent value be 1ppm?
And....can you test for CC WITHOUT testing for FC first?
Haven't seen this covered and wanted to get a "professional" opinion!
Thanks!!!

Don't bother with the .2 ppm tests. Your pool doesn't require that kind of accuracy. You have to run the FC test to get your CC numbers.

If you just need a basic idea of where you are at, use the DPD test, the one where you match it to the color blocks. I don't use my FAS-DPD every day.

Was curious because at high shock levels (28ppm), was looking for a way to check often without using so much regent. Obvious OTO is not a solution here. Haven't seen it cover and wanted to ask.
