Air coming from booster pump outlet? Water leak?

The weather here is a around 95 daily so I having been adding water pretty much daily. But I noticed last week I am now having to add about 3" a day. Since I have the day off I decided to find my leak. So I pulled everything out of the pool and after unhooking my polaris I noticed a large amount of bubbles or air coming out of where my booster return is. Is that normal, and could this line be where my leak is originating from?

That's definitely not normal. It sounds like you have a suction side leak.
