I have kids and I'm sure most here do too and they can never leave the hose alone while the pool is filling. Although nothing bad has occured yet I was concerned with the metal threads at the end of the garden hose possibly tearing into the liner. Simple solution I just discovered this morning is to shove the metal threaded end of the garden hose into a small foam noodle. This way if the hose is touched the padding from the noodle protects the liner from any damage.
