Cloudy Water

New pool owner, pool has been set up about a week and now the water is cloudy. Here are the test readings

FC 10
PH 10
TA 250
CH 250
CYA 100

Pool is above ground 18' x 48" and 7646 gallons.

Please help!!

How did you get those numbers?
I doubt the pH is 10. Please verify that.

The CYA is too high but we don't really know how high it is as most tests only go to 100 so it could be higher than that.

I'm using test strips and it looks like the color is reading a little off the chart so I'm guessing.

The best thing you can do for yourself is get a good test kit, because those strips are very unreliable.

While you're ordering your kit, take a sample to a local pool store and have them test it. Don't buy anything until you come back here and post the results they give you. It's not much better but it'll give us something to go by until you cna get a kit.
