We finally got our patio addition finished and the pool up today. So far so good, but what is the triangle shaped piece for? It is made out of the grey liner material and.we couldn't find anything about it in any of the instructions??

Hmm I thought it was for the ladder, but can you tell me how exactly I am supposed to use it?
It's a guard to keep swimmers from being trapped between the pool liner and the ladder rungs. It attaches to the ladder between the back of the rungs and the pool wall. I hated mine, it made the ladder even more difficult to pull every night, so I took it off. Not telling anyone else they should do this but it is what we did.
I don't think we will use it either, my son is almost 11 (this pool is his bday present) and most of his friends are that age as well. I'm not too worried about them or my husband or I getting stuck!
