Deck is done around our in ground pool!

About 90% done with our deck. Having a friend weld gates and then need to install rock between the old patio and the deck. Pool is 28' with a deep end. I'll post more pics later....

Beautiful. I'm jealous. I don't have the money to do a deck, but have one planned out anyways.

I could do a deck in any size at only the cost of treated posts, but my no-cost wood isn't treated. Father-in-law has a sawmill. I'd rather not be picking splinters out of the kids' feet on a nightly basis though.

I think I am going to do treated wood and then cover with indoor/outdoor carpet. I am not a fan of spliters either, and even treated wood will warp and bend and raise nails and did I say warp : )
