Hello, me again. My brain is fried from all of the reading and research I've been doing on pumps and filters. We are still awaiting the delivery of our 26'x54" Intex pool. I'm leaning toward a pentair 2 speed pump and sand filter. If I want a salt water system, could I use the Intex with the Pentair? Its all getting so confusing. I don't want to spend a fortune that's why I'm asking. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I don't think it matters what kind of pump you have.. They should all work with the index swg I believe
That combination will work very well together. You will need to do some minor plumbing to add hose adapters to the Pentair equipment.
