Currently have a ultra 16 x 48 with a krystal clear saltwater with copper pump filter, but am thinking about upgrading to a hayward sand filter and separate pump. Would I benefit from this and how do you get the standard hoses that come with sand filters non intex to mate with the pool? Am also wanting to add a through wall skimmer is there any write up detailing the sand filter hook up I have found one for the skimmer . Thanks

Is there a simple solution at lowes , home depot ect to connect 1.5 tigerflex to the pool ?
I'll try to make time today to get a picture of how I did mine.
edit: You might be able to make out how I did it in this pic. I put a PVC coupler inside the hose so there would be something solid to clamp down on. I then put the grey rubber adapter over the hose and tightened the clamp. The other side of the adapter went on the valve on the pool (obviously).
