Could this be scale?

Hi Everyone!
After we opened our pool this year and got it clear, we have a white/cream colored "scale" all over the bottom of our vinyl pool. We have had this pool for 7 years and have never had this before. I have scrubbed and vacuumed and some of it comes off, but in the deep end it hasn't at all. Here are my numbers for the pool as of earlier this week:
Chlorine-5+(med. yellow)
Ph-7.5
Alkalinity-180
Hardness is 230
CYA-0 (I have put close to 2lbs in today, so I will try to get a reading tomorrow) I have been vac. to waste and refilling with our well so much that I know I would need this.
Here are the numbers for my well water:
alkalinity-280
calcium-300

I hope someone can give some directions on what to do with this. Thank you!

If you can collect some of it and drop some MA on it to see if it will fizz. If it does then it is probably scale. You would need to lower the TA to about 70-90 and lower pH to7.2 to prevent scale from forming again.
