SWG TA recommendations

My Aqualogic SWCG recommends a TA level of 80-120 ppm, but Pool School suggests 60-80 ppm instead. The manual also recommends a pH from 7.2-7.6, compared to Pool School's 7.5-7.6.

Right now, my TA level is about 100, and the pH seems firmly pegged at 7.5 (hasn't moved in the last week, despite using the pool a lot).

Should I work on decreasing my TA level?

If your PH is stable, then don't worry too much about the TA. I expect that over time you will find that PH tends to increase. If that becomes annoying, then reduce your TA.
