    How much sodium bisulfate

    Just how much sodium bisulfate will I use as opposed to the muriatic acid.14000 gallon pool.The calculator says to use 51 pounds of borax.

    Jim -- You do realize dry acid adds sulfates to the water don't you? Muriatic is a better solution. You can use the Pool Calc to figure the equivalent amounts.

    I was just worried that such a large quanity of muriatic acid would be hard on the vinyl liner.

    As long as you follow the procedure there's no danger to your liner.
