Anyone have info on the Perma Salt System?

I've been out looking to my replace my old pool. The new pools in South Texas come with "The Perma Salt System" but I don't know anything about it. The only posts I found were from 4+ years ago. I'm wondering if they were too new then and if there's more information on them now. Should I steer clear of this and stick with BBB? Any help would be greatly appreciated before I spend all this money.

Put the Perma-Salt down and back away!

If you want to do salt, just go for a straight swcg. If you don't want salt, just stick with straight pool chems. Keep it simple and you won't have problems.

Perma Salt is a copper based system. We never recommend putting copper in your pool.
