Venus transit in front of the Sun..

Snapped a few cool pics last night after golf league. In 1 you can see a jet passing in front of the Sun which I thought was very very cool. I think its the 3 members of Lynyrd Skynyrd saying hello lol. The one with the lines is getting low on the Horizon and those r power lines. Really cool also. I used a couple different filters as you can see by the colors. Hope you enjoy.

Well, that is just totally cool photography. The professional ones on TV last night couldn't hold a candle to these. Excellent work and thank you for sharing your talent.

    Sweet!

Only got one myself, and the focus is horrible. Sadly, I still haven't managed to sort out managing focus with the filter on.

Remember, the Shock Process should be followed until : 1. CC is less than 0.5 ppm, 2. An OCLT shows a loss of 1.0 ppm or less and, 3. The water is crystal clear.

Very cool shots and a very cool thing that we got to witness! I watched it with the indirect viewing method using my binoculars. Thanks for sharing.

No its just with a Mylar sun filter and a cheapo red filter on the eye piece. Not the 100$ H-Alpha filter or much more expensive scopes for that matter..
