Just getting frustrated

5am check vs last night:

Last night
FC: 21
CC: .5

5am
FC: 20
CC: 0

Still doing the shock level, the water is really clearing up but I'm seeing a lot of clear/white leaves floating up. Vacuuming the pool everyday...really surprised the water is clearing up like it is.

After 2 straight weeks of maintaining shock level of ~22ppm FC (I've used almost 50 1.5 gallon bottles of bleach) the water is still cloudy. It is much more clear than when I started but it is still cloudy and I suspect that poor water circulation is to blame (despite the 2HP pump). I've been vacuuming and brushing the walls daily.

At this point would a floc help drop the solids to the floor and be picked up by the filter via vacuum? I will provide pictures and a full set of test results shortly (trying to get my son down for a nap).

Also - Happy Father's day to the fathers in the forum!

It's done!

Here's my specs:

Here's my current specs and pictures to follow:
FC: 8
CC: 0
pH: 7.53
TA: 80
CH: 230
CYA: 50

I did the overnight test a couple of times and finally passed all the requirements (Overnight, clear water and CC of 0) two days ago! The water is clear~ I love you guys and BBB! Thanks for all your help.

If you can "bump" your DE filter, do it each time you see a pressure increase in your filter. It will allow the movement of more water, faster.

I see about 14 psi on a fresh charge and it can go as high as 24 psi. I like to bump when i see the pressures above 16. If the pressures rise to 20+ in less than 30 minutes, it means I have added as much debris to my DE as I can and I need to change the DE.
