vitamin C on pool stain

Little section in the pool that has a stain, put some vitamin c on it and it disappeared. how long will it take for the stain to return?

stain was there before i did a 1/3 drain twice to lower CYA levels.

enough fresh water to keep it diluted so the stain doesn't return?

It is impossible to say, as it depends on lots and lots of things. If you are worried about it, use sequestrant or replace water to get your metal level down.

Wish i releazied i had the stain before i drained 1/3 two times,

coulda did the vitamin C on it and then drain 1/3, woulda got some of the metal out.


Couldn't you make a contraption with a small water pump.

enclosed contraption with opening at the bottom and top to pump water out. put vitamin C in it, and go along the side of the people were the stain is. soon as the vitamin C disolves the stain the water would be pumped out immediatly onto the lawn.
