    Storing liquid chlorine?

Well I have just bought 20l of 16% chlorine. To start bbb once a dosing pump arrives. How do I store it? I was just going to keep it in the drum in a kinda shady place. Are plastic drums also fine? Like a clear beer fermenter?

The vessel it came in will be fine to store it in. A good shady place is ok but it would be better if it were a cool place as well. 16% will degrade fairly quickly.

It's comes in black drums but 5g drums ate $30 each. If I take my Own cotainer it's $4 per gal.

I could put it in a stainless beer keg.

Don't store sodium hypochlorite in a metal container.

    This site has a calculator:

To view the rate of decomposition of Sodium Hypochlorite and the formation of Oxygen and Chlorate at varying strengths and temperature, select a starting weight percent and temperature: ... ecomp.aspx ... tware.aspx
