    Backwash valve leaking

I have a Hayward push-pull backwash valve that is leaking slowly from the top. Can these normally be fixed with new O-rings, or should I just replace the valve?

How corroded does it look? If the outside looks scaly and pitted, the inside will look worse.

If it's in good shape, a set of O-rings and a generous coating of pool lube on everything should fix it.

Except for the leak, it looks fine. I'll try the O-rings first.
