    20 Mule Team Borax

I bought borax and noticed it is sodium tetraborate not sodium carbonate. Did I buy the wrong product/ brand? Should I add it to my pool?

    My levels are:
    FC - 3
    CC - .05
    pH - 7.1
    TA - 80
    CH 90
    CYA - 33

As kplaster said, borax is recommended to raise ph with just a small bump in TA.

I got a Taylor K-2006 in the mail yesterday and check my levels this morning. FC was a low, I brought it up to 3 and headed to the store for Borax.
