I recently purchased a test kit before I realized that I will not be able to open my pool this year due to various reasons. My question is whether I should return the kit or keep for the following year. I know these are chemicals which could potentially expire, but I am not 100% certain. Your help is greatly appreciated!

If you kept the kit in a cool dark place it should last a year without issue.

Alternatively, put it up for sale in The Coffee Bar and get a new kit next year when you need it. Which kit is it?

If you store it somewhere cool and dark, but not freezing, it can easily last long enough to be good next year. On the other hand, if it is easy to return I would do that instead. It would be even better to have a brand new one next year that will still be good the year after.
