NEWB with an AG question...

We are looking at the 16X32....is the 2650 sand an adequate filter....we would be adding the SWG too....just wondering if the filter and pool size work well together....I would be modding this badness right away to an external skimmer and hard plumbing...

The 2650 is a good choice for that pool. You'll be a lot happier with it than the stock unit.

are you talking about the 16ftx32ftx52in rectangular?
If so I did not feel the 2650 that I had was turning over the water enough.
I may have been wrong & over thinking everything, but upgrading to a hayward pump & sand filter just made me feel better.
I loved the 2650 on my 16ft round & I have seen posts from people with 24ft round that say it works perfectly.

If the 2650 came with the pool, set it up, let it run for awhile & see how you like it.
Like I said, it may have just been me over thinking that made me change it

I am pretty sure it comes with the 2650 sand filter from Target.com....that's where we ordered it from anyway...so we shall soon see!
