Hayward ec50 DE filter gasket question...

I just cleaned the inside of the filter and ready to put it back together and have a question.

Do I install filter/fingers gasket that seals the top on dry? Or does it get a lube on the rubber like o rings? This is the rubber gasket all the bolts on top go through to seal the canister and the top together.

I have always used silicon lube, don't know if it needs it or not.
