How often should I add bleach? FC is zero and I used the sock method for cya 6 lbs. I been dumping 3 gallons 3-4 times a day since yesterday. I am not getting ahead of algae.

Do you have a good test kit?? If so what are your current numbers? For us to answer that question would be like answering "how far is it to New York?" We have no way of knowing just how far you have to go to get there at all.
You may need to add bleach every hour to maintain a high enough FC level to kill the algae faster than it can reproduce. How high that level is depends on the CYA level.
If you don't have the proper test kit, you're wasting a lot of time and a lot of bleach.

Sorry,I haven't had a green pool since last year and I am rusty. I put 6 lbs of cya in yesterday. My FC is 12.5 right now. Put 3 gal.bleach 1 hour ago. My cc is .5.
My cya was zero yesterday so can't test that yet since I just put some in.
