Epoxy Paint Yellow Stain

Hi to all;

Pool was recently epoxy painted including some old plastic coping. We're seeing one 4" or so yellowish stain on the pool floor and some of the same on the old coping. I'm assuming this may be from a fairly short cure time, about 5-6 days, due to weather concerns and the possibility of pool popping. I think the staining is a bit of bleed through from the epoxy.

Chemical numbers are good, ph, ta, etc.

If this is epoxy bleed through is there a way to remove the stain?

Thank you!

Thanks Dave, I did find the following from a pool supplier:

Stains occasionally appear within the pool coating, commonly yellow in colour, as a result
of excess amine (hardener) leaching to the surface of the coating. This staining can occur
about one month after the painting is completed. The stain will gradually disappear as
the pool chalks. This will take approximately 2-3 months during summer and 3-4 months
during winter.

Love the TFP forum!!
