Cloudy Water still

I have the same issue. Only exception is i have a cartridge filter instead of sand. I backed washed a few times last week and changed the filter. Should I use a clarifier? Or let the filter run until the pool becomes clear?

Clarifiers have mixed reviews here. I'll answer your question with a question....How much money do you want to spend?

Sorry, didn't realize we had a new poster. In general, you don't need clarifiers. However, I'll echo Jason....what kind of test results do you have?

FC is too low for that CYA level. It should never get below 5. pool-school/shocking_your_pool will guide through what to do.

Also, if the water is cloudy, odds say you have algae. I would bring it up to shock level.
