Pool Store didn't want to sell me a K-2006!

Just picked up my K-2006 kit from a local pool store, and they literally did everything in their power to persuade me NOT to buy it. Does this seem weird to anyone else? They were pushing me towards the K-2005, and said it was much better but I still bought the K-2006.

Maybe they were really just trying to be helpful, but it was the first time I ever had a pool store employee try to down-sell me lol

Maybe they've related the K-2006 with people that know what they're doing and know that by selling one they'll lose sales. Naw, probably not.

It's probably that they themselves don't know the benefit of that test kit and think it's only for pool service people.

I had the the 2005. Thought I was ok until I came to TFP. I had to buy the FAS kit to go with my K-2005. Now I guess I have a K-2005 +. Nice to get exact FC readings.
