    Welcome to tfp, bigorange0711

I think this link may help you: http://www.troublefreepool.com/custo...ls-t28971.html
TFP Expert who uses Pool School and my TF100 test kit along with PoolMath for my: Round 11K gallon AGP with deep end, 20" sand filter, Matrix 1hp 2spd, 6 2ftX20ft solar panels (and solar cover!), Intex SWCG (copper bars disconnected) and a Rubadub hot tub (chlorine). The SLAM process is not finished until: 1. CC < 0.5 ppm, 2. An OCLT < 1.0 ppm and, 3. The water is crystal clear.

in the link that linen posted, look for the post from Rªzª on June 14, 2011.. that is the method I used.
Very simple. The part you are looking for is a 1 1/2 conduit box adapter.
You will then take one of the connectors off of an Intex hose & slide over this adapter before gluing on your PVC pipes.
    Works perfectly
Intex 16ftx32ftx52in rectangular / Hayward 2 speed pump / Hayward 21in sand filter / Intex SWG / still saying solar panels coming next year

You need? to use 1 1/4 pvc pipe, 1 1/2 2 way pvc ball valve, and for the connection The part you are looking for is a 1 1/2 conduit box adapter. Pick up some rough grain sandpaper also to sand the end of the PVC pipe to make the box adapter slide over if needed.

You will then take one of the connectors off of an Intex hose & slide over this adapter before gluing on your PVC pipes.

    Works perfectly
