TF-100 reads total chlorine 0

Is it possible for pool to look "crystal clear" and have total chlorine read zero? Pool looks great but.......I am waitng for conditioner to come to raise cya to 70...

Why do you want to raise the CYA, do you have a SWG?

Yes I have a SWG...Do you think I should shock beacuse FC-0 or am I losing FC due to low CYA?

I recommend manually raising the FC level today, doing an overnight FC loss test to rule out algae tonight, and only after the possibility of algae is eliminated raising CYA up to the recommended 70 to 80.

Your SWG might be able to keep up with CYA that low, or it might not. To have any chance of keeping up you will need to turn up the percentage fairly high. While figuring that out, make sure to add chlorine manually as needed to keep FC from getting to zero or you will have more serious problems.
