How do I lower FC so that I can get accurate pH

If your FC is 11 and you are using one of the recommended kits, you can test pH closely to accurate now.

PH won't be very far off when FC is 11. However, for best results it is good to let FC come down a little before testing PH. FC will come down on it's own. How quickly that happens depends on your CYA level, but for a drop of 11 down to 10 it shouldn't be more than a few hours during the day regardless.

Be sure you turn off or lower the output of your SWG.

Thanks guys. I turned my generator down from 40% to 20%. Ill just wait. My pH did read at 7.5.
