Due to various reasons my pool was neglected over the winter and I now have a green swamp. I purchased new cartridges and am getting ready to clean the swamp....I have algae inside of the filter housing itself. can I use bleach directly on it or shoul;d i just shock pool and continue to monitor the inside?
