Plumbing Laundry / Sink waste to Filter Waste

I have an idea running through my head that one day I was looking at moving the laundry from the house to out in the Garage. Has it happens, right next to the pool pump and filter.

Question I have; Is there any technical reason that I cannot put the waste water from the laundry done the same waste pipe as the waste from the Pool filter? Apart from building codes (which I have to check up on for here), is there a technical reason not to do this? I cant really see an issue, so long as the existing pool waste was plumbed to the sewage so it can be treated as normal. Would a washing machine make any difference?

Here in my area once it hits the sewer it's all headed to the same place.

As long as your local code allows it there's no reason not to do it.
