Raising Calcium levels

Hello all,

So this is my first year opening my pool after closing using the BBB method and it looked great after removing the cover!

My readings are as follows:

Cl - 0
pH - 7.5
TA - 100
CA - 60
CYA - 20
Temp 60 degrees

What/where do I need to purchase to raise my calcium levels?

(I have added 2 182oz. jugs-o-bleach this evening and will be taking another reading in the morning).

What type of pool do you have? If it is vinyl, there is no point to raising the CH level.

You do obviously need to get the CYA up a little and maintain the appropriate FC level.

OK (add the finish to your signature please ... some in-ground pools are vinyl).

Review the article in the link I posted and that should help you find the stuff to raise CH.
