    Intex pump question....

The documentation that came with my pool says to not run the pump/filter while people are in the water. Does anyone know why? I keep forgetting to turn the pump off when my kids get in and I just want to make sure no damage is being caused.

    Thanks!

It is an electrical safety issue. The Intex pumps don't all have the safety rating to be used while people are swimming. What exactly they are missing that prevents them from getting the rating isn't obvious.

Hmmm....sounds like I'll try to do a better job turning it off while we're swimming.
