Can someone look at my test results and let me know what I should really be attacking first. I've been focusing on the TA but not sure if that's the right direction to go. Any input would be appreciated.
My Goals
Fiberglass with SWG (3000-3200 ppm 200-400 above recommended optimum level )
FC 3-5
pH 7.5-7.8 (not any lower than 7.5 and add muriatic acid if higher than 7.8)
TA 60-80 (Most important)
CH 220-320 (250 ppm is ideal, never above 400)
CYA 70-80
Borates 30-50 ppm (optional)
This morning results:
SWG - 3350 (perfect as my cell states 3400)
FC - 5.5
pH - 7.2 (lowered the previous evening to work on TA)
TA - 140 (keep lowering the pH with Muratic Acid and aerate...started at 170)
CH - 120 (need to get calcium chloride dihydrate this weekend)
CYA - 0 (add cyanuric acid(stabilizer). Did this a couple of days ago, but still no reading. Info says it could take up to a week to register. I can tell you my dot was still visible but the water was cloudier than previous readings.)
Borates - will not be using due to the dog and cat.
