problem with steps--Help!!!!!

I have an above ground pool. We recently had a deck built. I attached my steps to my deck and now I have a space about 4 "-5" between the bottom of the steps and the bottom of the pool. Any suggestions as to what I can place in that space.

Could you post a picture?

You may need longer steps, or you may want to get steps that do not need to sit on the bottom.

Was able to adjust the handles on the steps.

Glad you found a simple solution. Pool steps can be expensive!
