I have an above ground 2500 gallon pool our ph really low how much borox do I need to add to it and how long do the kids need to wait before they can swim in it after I add.

Without knowing the actual number we can't possibly tell you how much to add. You can use the pool calc to figure it out once you have a number.
If it's much lower than 6.8 you should test the TA to make sure it's not terribly low and then use 6.8 as the starting point and add enough to get to 7.6. you may have to add a few times if it's really low.
Once you get it into range you can swim.

it read 6.8 so according to that chart if I am doing it right it is telling me 28oz can that be right for such a small pool :?:
