Had some algae on the cover, via standing water. I am curious can or should I use the same garden hoses to fill the pool back up to regular height????

I know its a dumb question but had to ask, and now I amgonna go out and pull the cover off and start filling with water, using the hoses that were used, as I am sure the pool water isn't crystal clear anyhow. And I am fearful that I do have other problems out there as my pool water with the cover on looks lower than when I closed. I hope its just me worrying for no reason but we will soon see. Did I say it is suppose to be 93 next Sunday here in North Carolina.
Unless you fill your pool with trucked in water how else would you fill it? I used our regular garden hose and the water was just fine. Are there any extenuating circumstances that would prohibit the use of your hose?
I use the same water hose to wash the dogs, water the yard, add water to the koi pond, and fill the pool. All is good!!
