I have a Hayward Superpump with 1 1/2HP 2-speed General Electric Pool Pump Motor on it. The label on it is mostly unreadable. I can get some numbers off of it:
HP 1 1/2
V 230
PH 1
RPM 3450/1225 ??
Swim Pool Motor
A 6.9/2.6
Cat# C1112
Cannot read the wiring diag.
The way I read it, it is a 230 volt only (no 115) motor. 6.9 amp on hi-speed and 2.6 on low speed.
Sound correct? Anybody with the same motor?
Tried GE and Marathon a few weeks ago and never got a reply.
Thanks
Mike

What are you trying to figure out?

The low speed RPM is 1725.

The low speed RPM is 1725
I thought that the 1225 sounded strange.
What are you trying to figure out
That it only a 230 volt motor and the amp is 6.9/2.6 at 230 volt.
With how unreadable the label is, I am guessing at those numbers.
Used a magnifying glass to get as far as I did.
I did plug it in to 115 and it ran kind of.
Ran much better on 230 and hi and low works.
Now it has new seals and gaskets and ready to be wired in and plumbed!
