Sorry if this a "Beating a Dead Horse" question. I just want to make sure I am VERY clear on what to do.

Adding bleach to new water--Pour straight in the pool in front of the return jet?

Adding Stablizer--put in an old sock and hang in front of return jet

Adding baking soda--dilute it and pour in front of return jet?

Adding Muratic Acid--slowly pour into skimmer basket?

Adding Borax--Dilute it and pour in front of return jet?

Muriatic acid is the one chemical you should never pour into the skimmer. We don't recommend pouring anything into the skimmer, even though the only one with an actual risk of damaging something is muriatic acid. Like chlorine, muriatic acid is poured slowly in front of a return jet while the pump is running.
