Beam issues

Howdy All!

So.....we have some beam issues that have caused tiles to pop out in various places in pool.

A. One pool company says they can give us new tile and address the beam issues after they remove our old tile. They suggest simply repairing the lose coping.

B. Another company says that given that some of our coping has already popped off, we need to remove all the tile AND COPING so that they can properly fix the beam issues and therefore, prevent problems in the future.

Does anyone have experience in this? Trying to figure out if we should go the less expensive route: A or the potentially more in depth (and expensive :-( ) way of part B.

Also, has anyone had a good or bad experience when acid washing older pebble tech?

Thanks! :)
