Biogard Mineral Springs System?

Hi,

I am a new pool owner and we have a SWG and was advised to use the Biogard Mineral Springs system. It is a little more expensive than starting with regular salt, but "supposedly" in the long run, it is easier and less time consuming to maintain. Anyone have any thoughts, recommendation, reviews, etc.? All comments would be appreciated and informative, since I am totally new at this.

Aside from their excellent marketing literature, and comparatively high prices, the Biogard Mineral Springs system is very much the same as any other once the chemicals are added to the water.
